
Cabin fever got the best of me last weekend. It was certainly a night to remember, and hopefully, this special styled shoot will empower many more couples to think outside the box with their wedding plans. Homestead at the Shoo Fly toll station in the desert outside of Grandview Idaho. Once the sun went down we hiked back to our cars with our flashlights in the dark, slightly tripping over rocks but laughing the whole way down. It meant so much to everyone who participated. The view was unbeatable, the hot spring felt like warm bathwater, and it felt like the perfect way to celebrate Christine and Scott’s relationship-it was only a “pretend” elopement but all the magical, romantic feelings were there. Christine got her flawless makeup and beautiful hair done beforehand, and then together with Scott, Shania (from Historia Florals), and I, we made the hike up to a hot spring tucked away in the mountains. I couldn’t be happier with the unique, creative way it turned out. I’ve been dreaming about ways to inspire couples to get creative with their wedding plans, so I teamed up with a few amazing creatives and brought this hot spring styled elopement to life.
